don't have to be a hockey fan to appreciate what 39-year-old Alex
Ovechkin has just achieved. The Washington Capital's captain and left
winger scored his 895th goal against the New York Islanders on Sunday to
become the all-time leading goal scorer in the NHL. Alexander the Great
broke legend Wayne Gretzky's record which has stood for 31 years.
