Sadly,
Trey Rusk's son Tracy passed away a week ago today after a long struggle with PTSD. Tracy was just 44-years-old.
Tracy served in the U.S. Coat Guard from 1999 until 2012 and was the member of a Special Ops team.
While
serving in the Coast Guard, Tracy received the Armed Forces
Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal,
theNational Defense Service Medal, the Coast Guard Special Operations
Service Ribbon, the Coast Guard Meritorious Team Unit Commendation
Ribbon, and several additional awards.
Unfortunately, following his
discharge, Tracy suffered from a torturous case of PTSD. This terrible
affliction is what finally took his life.
Tracy's service dog Breacher was his best friend and
constant companion during the last several years of his life.
Tracy
is survived by his daughters Hauna and Asia, his parents Trey and
Denise, his brother Bradley (a Friendswood police officer), his sister
Billye, and other family members.
Tracy was a casualty of war. He was a true hero in every sense of the word.
Tracy's funeral was held today. He is now resting in peace.
In
their grief, Trey and Denise can find some solace in that
Tracy is no longer suffering from his service-inflicted torturous illness.

Rusk has been a very dear friend for some 50 years. His father and I
were also the closest of friends when we were both on the faculty of
College of the Mainland in Texas City.
Many of the news articles posted on BGB have been forwarded to me by Trey.

Defense
Secretary Pete Hegseth's term in office may be short-lived. Hegseth has
been surrounded by embarrassing scandals. There was the top-secret
group chat about our bombing the Houthis in Yemen to which Jeffrey
Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, was allowed to participate
in. And now two of Hegseth's top aides have been caught leaking
sensitive information.
To begin with,
Hegseth was one of President Trump's most controversial cabinet picks.
Many questioned his qualification to be secretary of defense. He barely
survived the Senate's approval of his nomination.
Another scandal and Hegseth will be gone. In that case, Marjorie Taylor Greene would be a deserving replacement.
MTG meets Trump's top requirement of loyalty. She's worshiped him for years.
MTG
is a true Trump loyalist who has worshiped him for years.
That alone meets Trump's top requirement for anyone to serve in his
cabinet.
And any woman who is capable of holding a 33 pound rifle is well qualified to be our secretary of defense.
President
Trump has removed Barack Obama's portrait in the White House and
replaced it with a picture of himself pumping his fist after he got shot in the ear during an assassination attempt.
This is, without a doubt, the best move Trump has made since taking office.
Trump's
104% tariff on goods imported from China will cost Americans a pretty
penny. Especially hard-hit will be the American car industry.
The car manufacturers, including Ford, General Motors, Stellantis
(formerly Chrysler) and Elon Musk's Tesla, will have no choice but to
keep importing foreign car parts because without them they would be left
with only the shells of cars. That also applies to the foreign brands like Honda and Toyota that are manufactured in the United States.
That 104% tariff will cause the price of cars to rocket sky high. Most Americans will not be able to afford a new car.

Because of the tariffs which he opposes, Elon
Musk personally lost billions in the market. He called Trump's top trade adviser Peter Navarro a "moron" and "dumber
than a sack of bricks."
Trump
expects that his tariffs will establish new plants and produce many
jobs in this country. But experts believe it will be two years before
that can happen. Meanwhile Americans will be stuck with higher prices on
just about everything they buy..
And those sky rocketing car
prices will force the car industry to cut way back on the production of
cars. That will cause thousands of American workers to lose their jobs.
That 104% tariff is crazy or Trump is crazy ... or both.
President
Trump included the Heard and McDonald islands in the Indian Ocean among
the counties subjected to his tariffs. The trouble is that the islands
do not have any human inhabitants and are populated only by penguins.
Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick explained that “So basically he (Trump) said, ‘Look, I can’t let any part of the world be a
place where China or other countries can ship through them.’ “

The
only humans to set foot on the islands are the occasional tourists who
stay no more than a couple of hours while they pose for photographs with
the penguins. The Heard and McDonald islanders are really pissed off and declared that because of Trump's tariffs they were going to take their business elsewhere.

You
don't have to be a hockey fan to appreciate what 39-year-old Alex
Ovechkin has just achieved. The Washington Capital's captain and left
winger scored his 895th goal against the New York Islanders on Sunday to
become the all-time leading goal scorer in the NHL. Alexander the Great
broke legend Wayne Gretzky's record which has stood for 31 years.

Marines landed on a beach near Greenland's capital city Nuuk on Tuesday
morning. They did not meet any resistance until they entered Nuuk. A
brief battle ensued with the capital city's 36-man police force.
The brave Nuuk cops with their pistols were no match against the Marines
with their powerful weaponry. They surrendered after seven of them were
killed and 17 wounded. The Marines did not suffer any casualties.

trump called it "Liberation Day" for Greenland. "From now on Greenland
will be a territory of the United States," the President declared.

Auto parts on American cars that are importedmostly from China
Trump's
25% tariff on imported cars and auto parts is designed to get Americans
to purchase American-made cars instead of foreign imports and to boost
jobs in the auto industry. But it ain't a gonna do that.
That
tariff is going to cost Americans more, not just for foreign imports,
but for American cars as well. That's because most of the auto parts on
American cars are imported, mostly from China.
The tariff on auto
parts is not going to impact what there is of the auto parts industry in
this country. With the high cost of labor, it is far cheaper to import
car parts from China than it is to manufacture them here, the cost of
shipping and the 25% tariff notwithstanding.
For example, take the
container cranes in our ports. It costs a small fortune to ship these
huge cranes to the United States from China.
A

Yet it costs far less to manufacture these cranes in China and shipthem to the United States than it would cost to make them in this country. And the 25% tariff won't change that.
It's
the high cost of labor in this country that has led to auto parts being
made in China and for some American-brand cars and trucks to be made in
Mexico.
With an expected price increase of $6,000 for a Japanese
or Korean import, President Trump says that Americans will switch to
buying American-made cars. That may be wishful thinking.
Brand-loyalty
will probably keep Honda, Toyota, Hyundai and Volkswagen drivers from switching to
American brands. They'll just wait longer before buying a new car.
It
should also be noted that foreign carmakers have plants in the United
States while American carmakers have plants in Mexico and China.
So,
all that Trump's 25% tariff on imported cars and auto parts will do, as
well as the other tariffs he's imposed, is to raise the prices for what
Americans purchase.
Note: In Texas marijuana is now legal for medical use
According
to the AAA, after nicotine and alcohol, the legalization of marijuana
has made cannabis the third most commonly used substance in the United
States.
Some form of cannabis consumption is legal in 38 states. According to AAA, 24 states allow recreational use, while 14 states permit medical use only.
In
addition to the deleterious effects of marijuana on the individual
users, the legalization of cannabis has threatened public safety. In
states where the recreational use of cannabis is legal, there has been a
significant increase in the use of marijuana. With
the rise in cannabis use, researchers say impaired driving
has become more common, leading to a heightened risk of crashes,
injuries, and fatalities.
The legalization of marijuana has consequences, none of which are good.
Democratic

Democratic congressman Al Green had to be tossed out of the House
chamber for interrupting Trump's address to Congress and the nation on
Tuesday.
Green made a spectacle of himself by shouting repeatedly at Trump while waving his cane in the direction of the President.
It got so bad that House Speaker Mike Johnson was forced to direct the Sergeant at Arms to toss Green out of the chamber.

Green's
disgraceful and disgusting behavior would have been acceptable at a
professional wrestling match, but most certainly not at the President's
address to Congress.
Green follows in the footsteps of the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee as a colossal embarrassment to Houston.
All of Houston, not just the white residents, should be thoroughly ashamed of Al Green.
Georgia
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert used to be
best pals, but in 2023 they had a falling out with MTG calling Lauren a
"little bitch." They've been at each other's throats since.
Lst year MTG and her boyfriend Brian Glenn celebrated her 50th birthday together in Costa Rica.. One of the pictures Brian took was of MTG in a bikini.
When MTG saw the picture she was quite pleased, telling Brian, "Not bad for a 50-year-old one."
But
when Lauren saw the picture, she said "Marjorie is a 50-year-old bitch
trying to look like she's in her twenties. I'm going to show everyone
what I look like in a bikini, and even though I'm 38, men will shit-can
her picture when they see mine."

There is sure to be an explosion between Trump and Musk
Today there was an unprecedented shouting match in the White House between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that ended either with Zelensky storming out of the White House or getting kicked out by Trump. That's nothing, though, when compared to the inevitable fallout between Trump and Elon Musk. The two men are a bundle of dynamite waiting to explode.Trump has given Musk extraordinary powers, to the extent that America is now governed by a copresidency. Because
both Trump and Musk are ambitious egomaniacs, there is sure to be an explosion between the two men. The only question is ... when?Sooner
or later President Musk is bound to take some action that will
embarrass and infuriate President Trump. Or Trump will do something that
will infuriate Musk. In either case it's KABOOM.If
it's Musk that initiates the fallout, Trump's administration will end
up in shambles and he will go down in history, not as one of the better
presidents, but as one of the worst. When
Americans elected Trump president, they voted for one president, not
two, to lead them. The sooner Trump gets rid of Musk, the better. If Trump waits until it's Musk that initiates their fallout, he will suffer the consequences and they won't be pretty. Trump
will be best served if he conducts a peremptory strike by ending their
relationship and kicking Musk out of his administration.

to the flack about Musk's email, Trump said "There was a lot of genius
in sending it." He confirmed that employees would be fired if they

Shiri, toddler Ariel and baby Kfir Bibas were kidnapped by Hamas on
October 7, 2023 and are dead at the hands of the terrorists.
I've
never been as angry as I am now. I am livid because the Hamas
terrorists have murdered Shiri Bibas and her children, toddler Ariel and
baby Kfir. And because hordes of Palestinian onlookers celebrated the
deaths of innocents as Hamas terrorists handed over the bodies of the
Bibas family. Gaza children sang and danced amid the raucous celebration.
The Bibas family was kidnapped on October 7, 2023
during the attack on Israel by armed Hamas terrorists and thousands of
Gaza civilians. In fact, Gaza’s civilians made up the majority of the
barbarians who invaded
Israel. The invaders committed unspeakable atrocities against innocent
Israeli men, women, children and babies.
The atrocities were celebrated by the Gaza civilians and the Palestinians on the West Bank.
Biden
and Blinken kept harping about "innocent" civilians being killed in
Gaza by the Israelis, when in fact there were no innocent civilians in
Gaza. They supported Hamas all along and cheered as the terrorists and
the civilians who accompanied them returned to Gaza on October 7 with
the kidnap victims and the bloodied bodies of dead Israelis.
Furthermore, the Palestinians on the West Bank cheered as well.
The
Hamas terrorists made a spectacle out of handing over the bodies of the
Bibas family and a fourth hostage and they were cheered on by Biden's
innocent civilians.

Hamas added cruelty on top
of the cruelty as Israeli authorities discovered that the body inside
the coffin which was supposed to have contained Shiri Bibas was not

Although I am livid, I can still think clearly. I don't
care what the world thinks, but I want Israel to kill every last one of
the Hamas terrorists. I also want the Israelis to pulverize the
remaining structures in the Gaza strip that are still standing. If by
turning the Gaza strip into a dust bin a lot of civilians get killed,
that's just tough shit.
Israel should also pulverize the West Bank cities of Jenin and Nablus, both of which are hotbeds of anti-Israel terrorism.
Genocide?
Most of the world already accuses and condemns Israel of committing
genocide so the deaths of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank won't
matter.
Biden's innocent civilians had no sympathy for the brutalized Israelis and I don't have any sympathy for them.
The
slaughter of the Bibas family must be avenged. Just as the Palestinians
lacked any mercy on and since October 7, Israel should show no mercy
for Hamas terrorists and their Palestinian supporters in Gaza and the
West Bank.

revealed that Palestinian terrorists murdered toddler Ariel and baby Kfir

President
Trumps plan to resettle the Gazans in Jordan and Egypt is a non
starter. Neither Jordan or Egypt is willing to accept any Palestinians
from Gaza, or from anywhere else for that matter.
Furthermore,
Trumps plan for the US to take over Gaza and turn it into a grandiose
'Riviera of the Middle East' Mediterranean resort is a pie-in-the-sky
proposal that can't fly.
Then
there is our problem with millions of illegal immigrants within the
country. Trump wants to deport them all but realistically that is an
impossibility. He can deport a handful to El Salvador, Columbia,
Venezuela, Mexico and Guantanamo, but that leaves us stuck with the bulk
of them.
I
have a solution that will kill two birds with one stone. My plan would
ship the Gazans off to Turkey and our illegal immigrants to Gaza.
Turkey is the perfect place for the Gazans. Turkish president Recep
Tayyip Erdoğan has championed the Palestinian cause and welcomed the
Hamas leadership to take up residence in and operate from his country.

Trump should send a fleet of C-17 Globemasters
to Gaza, load them up with Palestinians and fly them off to dump the
1.5 million Gazans in Ankara or Istanbul. Trump should tell Erdoğan to go fuck himself if he objects.

resettled in Turkey and America's illegal immigrants in Gaza. What a
brilliant idea! Now why didn't someone else think of this first?
