Joe Biden has given the Ukraine a green light to fire U.S.-supplied long-range missiles into Russia. The Ukraine promptly started firing those missiles at Russia's Kursk region.

Putin immediately made changes to laws that will  allow Russia to launch a nuclear attack in response to a conventional weapons strike.

Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called Ukraine's use of the long-range missiles an escalation and said Russia would respond accordingly.

But the most dire response came from Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council. Medvedev, the former Russian Prime Minister, said Biden's approval for the long-range missile use by the Ukraine against Russia meant "World War III".

 

 

 

 

If Russia does use nuclear weapons against the Ukraine, Joe Biden's last act before leaving office will likely be to unleash a nuclear strike on Russia. Thatwill result in a full-scale nuclear war involving the U.S. Russia, NATO, China, North Korea and possibly India and Pakistan as well.  

There will be mushroom clouds over much of the world. And that will be Joe Biden's legacy.

Two fans slug it out in the best fight during the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson bout

 

Friday night's fight between 58-year-old former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson and 27-year-old Jake Paul was boring because Paul did not want to o inflict any unnecessary pain on old Iron Mike who landed only 18 punches during the entire fight. Paul landed 78 punches as he won by a unanimous decision.

The 8-round bout took place before a packed house of 70,00 spectators in the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The stadium is the home of the Dallas Cowboys.

Two fans slugged it out in the stands. That turned out to be the best fight during the bout between Jake Paul and rusty Iron Mike.

The fight was also streamed by Netflix to 65 million viewers. The quality of the streaming was very poor. A number of outraged viewers said they were cancelling their subscription to Netflix.

This was Tyson's first fight in 19 years. Rusty Iron Mike should have stayed home. The fight was so boring that it caused fans to declare that ring girl Sydney Thomas was the real winner of the bout.

 

The 70,000 fans in the stadium and the 65 million Netflix viewers paid to see a knockdown brawl like the three Rocky Graziano-Tony Zale fights, but what they got was a sleeper instead. It's a shame that only a few of the fans got to see the slugfest in the stands.

After making some good choices for his cabinet, the president-elect scraped the bottom of the barrel with Matt Gaetz and RFK Jr., their only qualification is being fiercely supportive of Trump.

Trump's former national security adviser John Bolton had this to say about Trumps pick of Matt Gaets to be Attorney General:

“Well, it must be the worst nomination for a cabinet position in American history. Gaetz is not only totally incompetent for this job, he doesn’t have the character. He is a person of moral turpitude, and notwithstanding how difficult it may be politically, this is a nomination the Republican Party should oppose.”

I would add that Gaetz is no friend of the Jewish people. He has called the Anti Defamation League (ADL) a racist organization. And he invited Holocaust denier Charles Johnson to the State of the Union address. Johnson does not believe the Nazis exterminated six million Jews and claims instead that only 250,000 Jews had died of illness. Gaetz has also endorsed the anti-Semitic mantra that Jews killed Jesus.

Trump's choice of RFK Jr. to be Secretary of Health and Human Services is just as bad as his pick of Gantz

RFK Jr. has been a vocal critic of childhood immunizations. He is opposed to the Covid vaccine. He wants to remove fluoride from our water systems. And he has promised to fire every nutritional scientist in the health and agriculture departments on day one of the Trump presidency.

Gaetz's nomination may not be approved by the Senate, but Trump can still appoint him as Attorney General during a Senate recess.

While loyalty to Trump is important it should never trump what's good for our country. Gaetz and RFK Jr. are most definitely not good for our country.

November 11 is a day our country is supposed to honor those Americans who served in our armed forces, especially those who served during a time of war. 

 

On this day, Donald Trump should stay out of sight,

Trump is a not only a Vietnam war draft dodger, but he has dishonored those who lost their lives or were taken captives while fighting for our country.

 

During the Vietnam war, which lasted from 1957 to 1975, more than 58,000 U.S. military personnel lost their lives and more than 300,000 were wounded in combat. Trump's father made sure his son Donald would not be among them.

 

Trump's multi-millionaire daddy paid some sorry-ass doctor to make up a fake bone spur diagnosis that would give Donald a medical deferment from the draft.

 

That 'bone spur' did not keep Trump from traversing golf courses during a time when golfers still walked from hole to hole instead of riding in a golf cart. 

 

Worse yet, the draft dodger dishonored true war hero Joh McCain for being captured by the North Vietnamese. 

McCain was a fighter pilot during the Vietnam war. In October 1967, he was shot down over Hanoi and captured by the North Vietnamese while seriously wounded.

McCain was a prisoner of war until 1973. During that time he was tortured by his captors. The North Vietnamese wanted to release him early for propaganda purposes because both his father and grandfather were U.S. Navy admirals, but McCain refused to be freed out of turn.

 

On July 18, 2015, Trump said this about John McCain: "He’s not a war hero. He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured." 

 

Had McCain been killed when his plane was shot down, Trump still would not have considered him a hero.  

In 2018, according to members of his staff, Trump did not visit the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery, near Paris because, "Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers." They also claimed Trump referred to the more than 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood during WWI as "suckers" for getting killed.

 

Those U.S. troops who died, were wounded or taken prisoner while fighting for our country are true heroes ... Trump is a true asshole.

When I cast my ballot for Trump, I did not vote for hm, I voted against Kamala Harris.

I AM SORELY DISAPPOINTED

During Trump's presidency, UN ambassador Nikki Haley and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo were two of the most competent and effective members of his administration.

Both Haley and Pompeo supported Trump in his bid for reelection, but both rightly criticized some of the things he said during the campaign.

It has been announced that neither Haley nor Pompeo will be part of the Trump administration. That is obviously payback for their criticism and it's damn petty of the president-elect.

GOOD NEWS, REALLY VERY GOOD NEWS: I WAS WRONG! I WAS WRONG! I WAS WRONG!!

On October 8, 2024, I predicted that on January 20, 2025, Kamala Harris would be sworn in as our new president.

I am very happy to admit that I was wrong, dead wrong!

As of noon Texas time, Trump had  292 electoral votes. He needed 270 to win. Trump also won the popular vote.

By noon, the Republicans were also sweeping both houses of Congress, 52-43 in the Senate and 201-184 in the House. 

Kamala Harris was unable to word salad her way into the White House. Her 'chicken in every pot' promise did not work. Neither did her screeching on women's reproductive rights. 

What won it for Trump? Let me quote what Jim Carville said in 1992: "It's the economy, stupid."

At his rallies, Trump asked, "Are you better off now than you were four years ago?"  To America's workers the obvious answer was "no". The economy was by far the top issue, followed by illegal immigration and abortion.

Barack Obama's campaigning for Harris did not help her and now he won't be serving his fourth term as president.

One of Trump's first acts as president should be to throw the Obama-holdovers out of the government, especially those in the State Department.

Trump's victory is not just good for America, but it is also good for Israel. Although he and Netanyahu have grown apart, Trump will never threaten Israel with an arms embargo like the Biden-Harris administration has done.
