BIDEN'S AG RESUMES OBAMA'S WAR ON COPS

Obama's AG Eric Holder's investigations of police departments came to a halt while Trump was in office, but Biden's AG Merrick Garland is restarting them now

Barack Obama started the war on cops following the arrest of his friend Harvard professor Henry Lois Gates in 2009.

After Gates' arrest, Obama frequently questioned police shootings of Blacks, usually before all the facts were in. And his AG Eric Holder went on a rampage investigating police departments blacks complained about.  And there is no doubt that Holder's investigations had the approval of Obama.

Near the end of his term in office, Obama nominated Merrick Garland for a seat on the Supreme Court, but the Republican controlled Senate would not confirm the nomination.

On April 21, Garland announced that the Justice Department will conduct a sweeping investigation of the Minneapolis Police Department to determine if there is a pattern or practice of unconstitutional or unlawful policing by its officers. 

On April 27, Garland announced that the Justice Department will investigate theLouisville Police Department to determine if it's officers engage in a pattern of unreasonable force.  Louisville cops killed Breonna Tailor last year after her boyfriend shot one of the officers in the leg during a drug raid.  The officers did not intend to shoot Taylor. 

On April 27, the FBI announced that it opened a civil rights investigation into the police shooting of Andrew Brown Jr. on April 21.  Brown, an ex-con with a history of selling drugs, was sitting in his car in the driveway of his home when North Carolina deputies attempted to serve a search warrant.  The deputies opened fire as he tried to drive away.

The Brown family hired their own pathologist to conduct an autopsy which showed he had been shot four times in the right arm and killed by a shot to the back of his head.

Civil rights investigations used to not be started for weeks, more often months, after police shootings, but since, Obama, Biden and Kamala Harris believe there is 'systemic racism' in American law enforcement, the investigation in this case was started within one week of the shooting.

On April 20, Columbus, Ohio police officer Nicholas Reardon shot dead 16-yearr-old Ma'khia Bryant as she was about to stab another black girl.

Instead of praising Reardon for saving a girl's life, Biden's press secretary Jen Psaki declared that the shooting of this "child" showed that "black and Latino people ... experience higher rates of police violence."

So, the war on cops that Obama started continues unabated under Biden's administration.  

OUR SORRY PRESIDENT'S PRAYER WAS ANSWERED

After deliberating only 10 and a half hours, the jury answered answered President Biden's prayer for the conviction of Derek Chauvin.  The jury found the former Minneapolis police officer guilty of all three counts - second degree murder, third degree murder and second degree manslaughter - in the death of George Floyd.    

Biden, who as President, should not have told reporters that the evidence against Chauvin was "overwhelming" and that he had called the Floyd family to tell them he was praying for the conviction of Chauvin.

The trial lasted three weeks, but it took the jury only a few hours to reach a unanimous verdict.  The fastness of the jury foretold a guilty verdict.

Several factors figured in the guilty verdict on all three counts.

1.  The prosecution did an outstanding job in presenting its case.

2. Chauvin's attorney did a poor job.

3. Although the judge instructed the jury to disregard the reaction - rioting, burning, looting - to their verdict, you know that must have weighed on the minds of the jury.  That' why they did not just convict Chauvin of manslaughter.

 

The prosecutors took 11 days to present their case, used 38 witnesses and played dozens of video clips showing Chauvin with his knee on Floyd's neck.

The defense took only 2 days and called only 7 witnesses.  One of the 'expert' witnesses was a quack pathologist who testified that the exhaust fumes from the police car could have caused Floyd's death.  He might as well have testified that pigs can fly ... that would have been just as believable 

 

The media, BLM and demagogue Al Shapton bestowed George Floyd with sainthood. Almost hidden was the fact that Saint George was a career criminal with 23 arrests since 1998, and an ex-con who was loaded with fentanyl and meth when Chauvin and his fellow officers arrested him for passing a $20 counterfeit bill.

 

 

Following the verdict, Sharpton, together with Benjamin Crump and the Floyd family, celebrated the legal lynching of Derek Chauvin.

In any event, President Biden once again proved he is a national disgrace.

During Friday's press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga, President Biden was asked about the mass shootings and police-involved shootings.  Here is the question and Biden's response:

ASSOCIATED PRESS REPORTER AAMER MADHANI: I’d like to just ask you, what would you say to many Americans who voted for you about the legislative progress on gun control and police reform having to wait while you pursue infrastructure, given that we continue to see these incidents with mass shootings and also police-involved shootings, including the incident that a lot of us saw in Chicago most recently?  Do you feel any need to reprioritize your agenda?

PRESIDENT BIDEN:  I’ve never not prioritized this.  No one has worked harder to deal with the violence used by individuals using weapons than I have.  I’m the only one ever to have passed an assault weapons ban.  I’m the only one that ever got a 10-year ban on assault weapons and clips of more than 10 bullets. 

Immediately upon us becoming in office, having an attorney general, I asked him to put together the things I could do by executive order, including dealing with new guns that can be made — you can buy in pieces and put together, and other — and other initiatives.

I strongly support — I strongly support the universal background checks, which I continue to push.  The Congress has to step up and act.  The Senate has to act.

And I strongly support and continue — I’ve never stopped supporting the ban on assault weapons and magazines that hold more than 10 — 10 bullets. 

It doesn’t mean that I can’t also be working at the same time on the economy and on COVID.  But it’s not a question of my being able to set the agenda in the Senate as to what they will move to first.  And so I continue and I strongly, strongly urge my Republican friends in the Congress who even refused to bring up the House-passed bill to bring it up now. 

This has to end.  It’s a national embarrassment.  It is a national embarrassment what’s going on.  And it’s not only these mass shootings that are occurring.  Every single day — every single day, there’s a mass shooting in this United — in the United States if you count all those who are killed out on the streets of our cities and our rural areas.  It’s a national embarrassment and must come to an end. 

And one last thing: The folks who own weapons, the folks who own guns, they support universal background checks.  The majority of them think we should not be selling assault weapons.  Who, in God’s name, needs a weapon that can hold 100 rounds or 40 rounds or 20 rounds?  It’s just wrong.  And I’m not going to give up until it’s done.  

EDITOR'S NOTE: Where does Biden get that crap about the majority of gun owners thinking we should not be selling assault weapons?  This is just one of many incorrect statements he's made since becoming president.  Now that's a national embarrassment!

"Who, in God's name, needs a weapon that can hold 100 rounds or 40 rounds or 20 rounds?"  All of us patriots who want to help our military repel the Chinese troops that will invade America.

THE BORDER CZAR PLANS TO GO TO MEXICO AND GUATEMALA, BUT WON'T GO ANYWHERE NEAR THE BORDER

On March 24, President Biden named Kamala Harris as his border czar, but she still has not gone anywhere near the border

Kamala Harris was tasked on March 24 by President Biden with ending the border migration crisis. That was 25 days ago, but the border czar still ha not gone anywhere near the border.   

White House press secretary Jen Psaki tried to defend Harris' failure to go to the border by saying "It is not a one-woman, even a one-man job, it is a multi-high-level official job,."

Instead of going to the border, Harris announced she will be going to Mexico and Guatemala.  "I have been asked to lead the issue of dealing with root causes in the Northern Triangle [Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras], similar to what the then-Vice President [Biden] did many years ago," the border czar said.  

That was not exactly what we were led to believe when Biden put her in charge of ending the border migration crisis. Everyone but Harris was made to believe she would be going to the border to do that.

My advise to Kamala: If you don't want the shits, don't drink the water in Mexico.

DAN CRENSHAW: FAR-LEFT DEMOCRATS 'TRULY DO NOT LIKE ISRAEL'

Last month, during an interview on a Fox News program, Houston's Congressman Dan Crenshaw responded to one of Ilhan Omar's tirades against Israel.

Here is what Dan Crenshaw said: 

"There are still a lot of Democrats who do believe in supporting Israel who do believe that antisemitic comments are wrong. I feel bad for them, honestly. There is a far left-wing of their party that is in true disagreement with them. They truly do not like Israel. They truly believe all the things that [Ilhan] Omar has been saying. She believes it. That should be really clear by everybody by now...

Every member here has the right to freedom of speech. Just like we have the right to criticize and condemn it. It is something different when we are talking about what committee she is on. She has a platform on the Foreign Affairs Committee to condemn Israel. That tells us that the Democratic leadership also supports that. Because here's the thing, this is how we're assigned to committees here in Congress, our leadership tells us what committees we can be on. So when there is something the party is against, they will not put you on that committee. We've done that in our party and I think they should do that in theirs. Unless they actually believe in what she's saying with regard to Israel."

ADDING INJURY ON TOP OF INJURY

$100,000 bond set for Kimberly Potter ... That's pure punishment!

Kimberly Potter made a monumental mistake in shooting Duante Wright when she only intended to use her Taser.  That mistake will haunt her the rest of her life.

Not only did Potter make a monumental mistake, but she was another white cop killing another unarmed black man.

Potter had an exemplary record, but because violent BLM protests broke out all over the country, she was arrested and charged with manslaughter.  If Wright had been white, there would have  been no protests and Potter would not have been arrested and charged.  But the authorities felt an urgent need to placate the BLM mobs.

Potter was charged with manslaughter in the second degree for her 'culpable negligence' - whereby the person creates an unreasonable risk, and consciously takes chances of causing death or great bodily harm to another.

Consciously?  Potter consciously in tended to tase Wright, but she mistakenly drew her gun during a struggle.  She did not consciously use deadly force against Wright.   

Adding injury on top of injury, Potter's bond was set at $100,000.  My God, did they think she was going to flee to some country that. like Mongolia, does not have an extradition treat with the US?  That $100,000 bond is pure punishment.  

Blacks want their pound of flesh.  Benjamin Crump, the Wright family's lawyer, said: "This [shooting] was no accident. This was an intentional, deliberate and unlawful use of force.  Driving while Black continues to result in a death sentence. A 26-year veteran of the force knows the difference between a Taser and a firearm."

Intentional and deliberate?  That's a terrible lie, and Crump damn well knows it.

Potter was struggling with Wright who was attempting to flee.  In the heat of the struggle, she grabbed her gun instead of the Taser.  She had intended to tase Wright, not shoot him.  The shooting was an accident, pure and simple. 

Instead of $100,000 bail, Potter should have been released on her  own recognizanc, but that would have further infuriated the BLM mobs.

SHEILA JACKSON LEE'S REPARATIONS BILL IS BEFORE JERRY NADLER'S HOUSE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE

The deck in the House is stacked in favor of paying  40 million blacks trillions in reparation payments. If H.R. 40 is passed, the commission it establishes will be heavily tilted toward paying the reparations

Sheila Jackson Lee, Houston's embarrassing member of congress, has her reparations bill before Jerry Nadler's House Judiciary Committee.  H.R. 40 establishes a 13-person commission to study whether the government should pay reparations to the descendants of slaves.

The Democrats are the majority of the committee, so H.R. 40 is likely to be passed onto the House.  Even though the House is controlled by the Democrats there is no certainty that Jackson Lee's bill will get passed onto the senate.

Fortunately, the bill has almost no chance of getting out of the senate.  It probably won't even get a hearing.

However, if the bill would somehow get out of the senate, President Biden has said he supports Jackson Lee's bill. 

The Bill sets out who will be on the commission.  (From the Daily Mail)

1. Three members shall be appointed by the President.

2. Three members shall be appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

3. One member shall be appointed by the President pro tempore of the Senate.

4. Six members shall be selected from the major civil society and reparations organizations that have historically championed the cause of reparatory justice.

With that kind of makeup, the commission would, without a doubt, recommend reparation payments for the descendants of slaves.

How does paying 40 million blacks trillions in government reparation payments sound to you?  And those trillions will come from us taxpayers.
