I was really pulling for Trump to make Biden look bad during the final presidential debate.  I'm not sure he did that.

I was looking for an excuse to blame moderator Kristen Welker in the event Trump did not do well,  Can't do that.  She gave Trump quite a bit of leeway.

Trump's attempt to score points with Hunter Biden's emails failed to work.  Biden deflected those attacks by throwing Trump's refusal to release his tax returns and his Chinese Bank account back in the President's face.  "This isn't about our families, it's about your families!" emphasized Biden while pointing at the TV audience.

Trump tried to blame the Obama-Biden administration for failing to do anything about the conditions Democrats are blasting the President for.  That may have worked.

Trump said he did more for blacks than any president since Abe Lincoln.  But instead of leaving well enough alone, the President blew that by boasting, "I'm the least racist person in this room," a laughable claim at best.

Trump and Biden spent most of the debate attacking each other.  Trump scored points by repeatedly referring to Biden as 'Joe', while the best Biden could do was to call Trump 'this guy'.

Trump did not do well during the COVID-19 issue.  Biden did not do much better there either.  Biden scored points by accusing Trump of ignoring the scientists.  Trump scored some points by claiming Biden would shut down the country, thereby destroying the economy.

On climate change Trump scored some points by claiming we have the cleanest air and water of any country and that Biden's promise to end our dependence on fossil fuels would cost millions of Americans their jobs.  Biden countered that we must end our dependence on fossil fuels in order to save the planet and that his green energy plan would create millions of jobs.

Trump should have won the debate on the climate change topic alone, but most Americans are in the dark about the fact that Biden's green energy plan will fail to meet their energy needs.

To his credit, Trump did not interrupt Biden like he had done in the first debate. This time it was Biden who did the interrupting.

Biden's performance should once and for all bury the claim that he is senile.   

Last night's debate will not change the minds of either the Trump or Biden supporters who have not yet voted.  Neither Trump nor Biden KO'd the other in the quest for the undecided vote.

So, who won the debate?  The media was just itching to declare Biden the winner by a knockout.  But Trump did rather well and Biden wasn't that good.  Thus most of the media here and abroad declared Kristin Welker the winner.  

But Israeli journalist Boaz Bismuth said, "We saw a level-headed, highly focused Donald Trump ..... Biden didn't know what to do with the time he was given. Like a deer in the headlights, he occasionally froze."  And Politico's headline read, "Trump came out strong."

British columnist Piers Morgan said, "Instead of the ranting, deluded, narcissistic buffoon we got last time, this was a far calmer, measured, focused, well-prepared, non-scary and even empathetic performance by the president.  We saw a new, tamer Trump and I liked it as much as I was surprised by it ..... Donald Trump won last night’s debate."

If Piers Morgan is right, then maybe the undecided voters will go for Trump.  I sure hope so!

Three of the six announced topics - race, climate change and COVID-19 - are topics about which Trump has been excoriated by the media

The Trump-hating media has consistently branded Trump as a racist who supports white supremacists.  It has mocked him for being a climate change denier.  And it continues to accuse him him of mismanaging the COVID-19 pandemic and discouraging people from wearing face masks.

The six topics for Thursday's debate in Nashville were chosen by moderator Kristen Welker, a White House correspondent for NBC, and approved by the Commission for Presidential Debates.  Included are race, climate change and COVID-19.  

Welker's background should reveal why she chose race, climate change and COVID-19 among the six topics.  According to the New York Post, Welker "comes from an established Democratic family — who have poured cash into party coffers, and to Trump opponents, for years."  Her parents have contributed almost $20,000 to the presidential campaigns of Barack Obama, $2,100 to Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign, and $3,300 to Biden's campaign.  And Welker, along with her father, celebrated Christmas with Barack and Michelle Obama at the White House back in 2012.

As an obvious Biden backer, Welker did not choose the hot button topic of Hunter Biden's emails which say Joe Biden was to reiceve10 percent of Hunter's deal with a Chinese firm.  If Trump can somehow engage Biden on the Hunter emails, Biden might also come out looking bad.       

So, one can only conclude that the final debate is rigged to make Trump look bad and Biden look good.  Trump's numerous tweets, his repetition of conspiracy theories, and his rally speeches on those three hot button issues, together with a biased moderator, will make Trump an easy foil for Biden.

Unless Biden has a complete meltdown, it is hard to see how Trump can come out ahead in this rigged a debate.  And that's a downright dirty rotten shame!

Trump calls Savannah Guthrie "totally crazy"

A pissed off Donald Trump called Savannah Guthrie "totally crazy" for the way she conducted Thursday night's town hall.

Trump had every right to be pissed off, but Guthrie is not crazy, she's just part of the media that hates him.

Trump has set himself up by many of the tweets he has sent out, the latest being the ridiculous QAnon conspiracy claiming the Navy SEALS killed an Osama bin Laden double body and that Oama and Biden tired to kill SEAL Team 6 to cover up that bin Laden was still alive. 

I voted for Trump and pray that somehow he scores a miraculous victory over Biden.  But if you compared Trump and Guthrie, which one would be considered crazy?  I'll give you a little hint ... it ain't the bitch. 

By calling Guthrie crazy, Trump has cost himself a slew of votes.

SOMEONE SHOULD HAVE SMACKED SAVANNAH GUTHRIE IN HER TRUMP-HATING MOUTH

I watched what was supposed to have been a town hall for Trump last night.  I came away angry as hell.  That was no town hall. It was an opportunity for an obvious Trump-hating NBC Today co-host Savannah Guthrie to savage the President and that's exactly what the bitch did.

Guthrie gave Trump no opportunity to differentiate his positions from those of Biden.  Trump did as well as he possibly could but this event did him no good.

Meanwhile, according to all reports, the town hall for Biden on ABC was a love fest between moderator George Stephanopoulos and the White Obama.

As can be expected, the Trump-Hating media gushed all over Guthrie's shameful performance with headlines like "Moderator Savannah Guthrie Hailed For Keeping Trump In Check" and "Savannah Guthrie Shines As Moderator At The Trump Town Hall" and "Savannah Guthrie Savaged, Celebrated For Taking On Trump."  Fox News was the only major media outlet that slammed Guthrie's mad dog attack on the President.

I usually watch the Today show but I will never again watch anything on TV that features Guthrie.  Someone should have smacked the bitch in her Trump-hating mouth.

Cops did not kill George Floyd because the toxicology report revealed that he had nearly four times what would be a fatal amount of fentanyl in his blood

The death of George Floyd on May 25 has led to continuing riots through out the US.  The ex-con from Houston has been martyred into sainthood because he was a black man allegedly killed by white cops.  But the knee restraint used by Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin for seven minutes and 46 seconds did not kill Floyd

The media has sensationalized Chauvin keeping his knee on Floyd's neck while the ex-con kept saying "I can't breathe."  But various videos showed a non-compliant Floyd shouting seven times "I can't breathe" while the cops were trying to place him in a police car and well before the officers finally put him on the ground. The video also show that several times Chauvin lifted his knee to reduce the pressure on Floyd's neck.  

Pinning Floyd to the ground for those seven minutes and 46 seconds really looked bad.  But appearances can be deceiving.  The officers were waiting for an ambulance they had called because Floyd had injured his head on the police car they had been trying to place him in.      

The neck restraint used by Chauvin was consistent with the training all Minneapolis police officers got.  In its training materials the Minneapolis police department even has a photo illustrating the knee restraint. 

At no time did any of the four cops use any kind of excessive force against Floyd.  Absent of any contact with the police, Floyd would likely have died on May 25 from the amount of fentanyl he had consumed.

Four days after Floyd's death, Chauvin and the three other officers involved in the restraint were charged with murder.  Two days later the chief medical examiner received the toxicology report which revealed that Floyd had 11 milligrams per liter of blood in his system.  Medical experts consider 3 milligrams per liter of blood a fatal dose.  Floyd had nearly four times that amount in his system. 

The media and the prosecutors have all but ignored the toxicology report.  The prosecutors do not want to admit that in their rush to judgement, a grave injustice is being done to Chauvin and his three fellow officers.  Instead of reporting the real cause of Floyd's death, the media preferred to sensationalize the killing of a black man by white cops and the riots that followed.  

All but forgotten is that Floyd's arrest resulted from a convenience store employee's complaint that the ex-con tried to pass a counterfeit $20 bill. 

Chauvin and his three fellow cops did not kill Saint Floyd.  The ex-con's death was of his own doing.

Floyd's funerals in Minneapolis, Raeford, North Carolina and Houston anointed an ex-con into sainthood.  Never mind that Floyd served four years in a Texas prison after accepting a plea bargain for a 2007 aggravated robbery in a home invasion. 

In Houston race-baiter Al Sharpton, Mayor Sylvester Turner and members of congress Al Green and Sheila Jackson Lee eulogized Floyd by blaming his death on systemic racism.  Joe Biden piped in with a taped message, calling Floyd's death the result of "racism that stings at our very soul" and saying "Now is the time for racial justice.  That's the answer we must give to our children when they ask 'why?' Because when there is justice for George Floyd we will truly be on our way to racial justice in America."

Those rabble-rousing eulogizers would have us believe that the ex-con was a victim of racist cops.  But nothing could be further from the truth.  Floyd's arrest had absolutely nothing to do with the color of his skin.        

Our country has been going through hell ever since Floyd's death,  Rioting continues throughout the country to this day.  On Sunday protestors rioted in Portland and tore down statues of Abe Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt  And all the hell has broken out because an ex-con from Houston overdosed on fentanyl.

The Pence-Harris debate turned out to be the 'Susan Page Show'

Wednesday's face off between Mike Pence and Kamala Harris turned out to be anything but a debate.  Susan Page, the moderator, yacked almost as much as the candidates. The questions were preceded by long statements by Page and she rarely allowed the candidates to rebut each other. 

Instead of a debate, you had the 'Susan Page Show' which stunk to high heaven. 

There were two highlights. Page trying to stop Pence from talking beyond his allotted time and Harris refusing, like Biden in his debate, to answer the question about packing the Supreme Court.

And Harris made sure to remind the TV viewers that Trump had called fallen soldiers losers which she damn well knew was not true because John Bolton, who is no friend of Trump, said he did not do.  

But the most exciting part of this farce was when a fly landed and took a shit on Pence's head. 

The Democrats will no doubt claim victory for Harris as will the Republicans for Pence.  I thought the fly won. 

All I really took away from this farce was Harris looking at Pence with a phony grin on her face as Biden had done with Trump, and Pence shaking his head at Harris.

The 'Susan Page Show' was a complete waste of time!

BE PREPARED FOR A DISASTER

I just mailed in my ballot.  Voted for Trump-Pence, Cornyn and Babin.  But a Trump victory does not appear to be in the stars

For starters, Harris County voters will go heavily for the Democrats.  The only Republicans that will win in the county are those that represent solid Republican districts.

Even Texas, which hasn't voted for a Democratic president in 44 years, is in doubt for Trump.  Like Harris County, Bexar County and Travis County will go heavily for the Democrats.  The DFW metroplex will be the key because half the state's voters reside in the Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth areas.

Nationwide things do not look good for Trump either.

Even before he took office, the Hillary-loving media went after Trump with a purple passion and it has continued to attack and misrepresent the president on a daily basis.  He is accused of failing to deal with the COVUD-19 pandemic. Trump has been painted as a racist who has refused to condemn white supremacists.  

Although Trump's daughter Ivanka and her two children are Orthodox Jews, Trump has been painted as anti-Semitic.  Never mind that he has been the friendliest president toward Israel since Harry Truman.  80 percent of America's Jews are liberals who would vote for Vlad the Impaler before they would vote for a Republican president.  Following the Trump-Biden debate, they have gone so far as to compare Trump to Adolph Hitler because he did not condemn white supremacists in the clearest of terms.

The Goebbels Principle is at work here.  There has been so much maliciousness in the Trump-hating media that people are bound to have come to believe it.

The younger college educated voters will turnout for Biden because they were indoctrinated to favor socialism by their leftist professors.  I have a close friend who is a diehard Trump supporter, but his kids are voting for Biden.  My sister is a bedrock Republican who has worked in the campaigns of GOP candidates, but her kids are voting for Biden. 

The debate did not turn out well for Trump.  He had to battle the moderator as well as Biden.  But worst of all, he was ill prepared.  All he could do was to constantly interrupt Biden.  Although Biden did not do well either, Trump came out looking like a rude bully.  But Biden proved he was neither sleepy nor senile.

The COVID-19 pandemic has really hurt Trump, and by that I don't mean his catching the virus. His handling of the pandemic has been a train wreck.   He has downplayed the seriousness of the virus for political purposes and he has all but encouraged people not to wear masks.  And at times Trump contradicted the pronouncements of health experts with those of conspiracy theorists.  On Tuesday he continued to downplay the seriousness of COVID-19 by comparing the virus to the flu.

When he returned to the White House from Walter Reed Hospital, the 'macho man' overjoyed the Trump-hating media by taking off his mask, thereby inviting his enemies to attack him for setting a bad example.  And his statement from the balcony - "As your leader I had to do that. I stood out front. I led. I know there's a risk, a danger, but that's OK" - was laughable.

There is not going to be a 'October surprise' to help Trump.  The Chinese who are hoping for a Biden victory are not going to rock the boat.  The Iranians who are also pulling for Biden are not going to attack our warships in the Persian Gulf or any of our military installations in the Middle East.  And the COVID-19 pandemic is not going to magically disappear in the next few days.  

There are just not enough diehard Trump supporters to get him reelected.

We can only hope the Democrats will not gain control of the Senate.  That coupled with a Biden victory would be disastrous for our nation.  It would mean a sharp turn to the left.  Just look at AOC - every candidate she has backed has won. 

A Biden-Harris administration will open our southern border, raise taxes to pay for social programs that include aid to illegal immigrants, force schools to use the '1619 Project', restore Obama's anti-business policies, rejoin the Paris Accords and the Iran nuclear deal, appease our foreign adversaries and favor the Palestinians, embrace the Marxist-led BLM movement and continue the war on the police, cuddle criminals, pack the federal courts with far-left judges, and severely restrict our Second Amendment rights, including a ban on the possession of assault rifles.

To keep the radical left from turning us into a socialist country with a government that handcuffs the police, cuddles criminals and disarms its citizens, it is extremely important for Amy Coney Barrett to be confirmed as a Supreme Court justice before the end of Trump's current term.   

I know my detractors will react to this post by once again accusing me of being a never-Trumper who is repeating the media’s fake news..  But they better be prepared for the disaster of a White Obama presidency.

TRUMP'S COVID ..... A LESSON FOR OBSTINATE BLOCKHEADS

QAnon's campaign against wearing face masks is working, but with disastrous results

President Trump has come down with COVID-19 and there are conflicting reports on how serious his condition is.  Melania and several White House staffers have now tested positive as well.  Furthermore, a significant number of those who attended the Rose Garden ceremony when Trump announced his Supreme Court nominee have also come down with COVID-19, including Chris Christie and several Republican senators.   

Trumps reluctance to wear a face mask and his refusal to warn attendees at his campaign rallies to wear face masks has led to a significant spike in COVID-19 cases.  In Miami where people are partying and going to crowded bars maskless, corona cases are are going up at an alarming rate.  And colleges closed as quickly as they opened when COVID broke out on campuses because students partied without wearing masks.    

QAnon's campaign against wearing face masks is working, but with disastrous results.  The QAnon conspiracy, Info Wars and other conspiracies have unleashed a swarm of obstinate blockheads who not only refuse to wear face masks, but verbally and even physically attack anyone who insists they wear masks.

Masks may or many not prevent the wearer from catching corona, but the scientific community agrees that masks keep others from getting the virus and thus masks and social distancing are critical to ending the pandemic.

Every American should pray for President Trump's speedy and complete recovery. Shame, shame on the thousands of Twitter users who have been tweeting they are glad Trump caught COVID-19 or who wished he would die.  A curse on those worthless pieces of shit.

One encouraging sign is the video address Trump made to the nation Saturday from Walter Reed Hospital.  Here is what the President said:

I want to begin by thanking all of the incredible medical professionals, the doctors, the nurses, everybody at Walter Reed Medical Center - I think it’s the finest in the world - for the incredible job they’ve been doing. 

I came here, I wasn’t feeling so well, I feel much better now. We’re working hard to get me back. I have to get all the way back because we still have to make America great again.

We’ve done an awfully good job of that but we still have steps to go and I have to finish that job. I’ll be back, I think, I'll be back soon and I look forward to finishing up the campaign the way it was started, the way we’ve been doing and the kind of numbers we’ve been doing.    

We’ve been so proud of it but this was something that’s happened and it was something that happened to millions of people all over the world and I’ve been fighting for them, not just in the US, I'm fighting for them all over the world. 

We're going to beat the coronavirus or whatever you want to call it and we’re going to beat it soundly. 

So many things are happening, if you look at the therapeutics which I’m taking right now some of them and others that are coming out soon that are looking like, frankly they’re miracles, if you want to know the truth. People criticize me when I say that but we have things happening that look like they’re miracles coming down from God so I just want to tell you that I’m starting to feel good.  

I don’t know the next period of a few days, I guess. that’s the real test so we’ll be seeing what happened over those next couple of days

I just want to be thankful for all the support I’ve seen whether it’s on television, reading about it, most of all I appreciate what’s been said by the American people almost a bipartisan consensus, by the American people. It’s a beautiful thing to see, and I very much appreciate it and I won’t forget it

I also want to thank the leaders of the world for their condolences and they know what we're going through. They know what your leader is and what I have to go through. 

But I had no choice because I just didn't want to stay in the White House. I was given that alternative: stay in the White House, lock yourself in, don't ever leave, don't even go to the Oval Office, just stay upstairs and enjoy it. Don't see people, don't talk to people, and just be done with it and I can't do that, I had to be out front and this is America, this is the United States, the greatest country in the world. This is the most powerful country in the world. I can't be locked up in a room upstairs and totally safe and just say 'Hey, whatever happens, happens'. I can't do that.

We have to confront problems. As a leader, you have to confront problems. There's never been a great leader that would have done that. 

So that's where it is. I'm doing well, I want to thank everybody. Our first lady is doing very well. Melania asked me to say something as to the respect she has for our country, the love that she has for our country. And we are both doing well. 

Melania is really handling it very nicely as you've probably read, she is slightly younger than me just a little tiny bit.

And therefore, we know the disease, we know the situation with age versus younger people and Melania is handling it statistically like it's supposed to be handled and that makes me very happy and it makes the country very happy but I'm also doing well and I think we're gonna have a very good result. 

Again, over the next few days we're gonna probably know for sure so I just want to thank everybody out there, everybody all over the world, specifically the United States - the outpouring of love has been incredible. I will never forget. Thank you very much.

God Bless President Trump and God bless America!  And shame on the conspiracy mongers like QAnon and on all of you obstinate anti-mask blockheads.

Comparing Tuesday night's debate to a boxing championship match

Three of the most exciting fights in boxing history were the three fights for the middleweight championship of the world between Rocky Graziano and Tony Zale.

Tuesday night's debate was no Graziano-Zale title fight.

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the blue corner you had challenger Joe Biden otherwise known as Sleepy Joe.  In the red corner you had champion Donald Trump otherwise known as the Orange Man.

Sleepy Joe was known to be a finesse boxer in the style of Muhammad Ali. Orange Man was known to fight like a barroom brawler in the style of Two Ton Tony Galento.  Biden was trained by former champion Barack Obama.  Trump said "I don't need no trainer, I'll just wing it."

The fighters did not touch gloves at the beginning of the fight.  Referee Chris Wallace quickly lost control of the fight with Trump continuing to throw punches every time he tried to pry them apart.  At one point in the fight Biden tried to take control by telling Trump "will you shut up man!"  That did not work either.  

Biden proved he too was a liar when he said: "I'm not going to call him a liar because everyone knows he's a liar."

Neither Sleepy Joe nor Orange Man followed the referee's instruction to answer the questions.  During the middle of the match, the champion got pissed off at the referee and turned away from the challenger to throw several punches at Chris Wallace.

Trump failed to deliver any knockdown blows.  Biden failed to float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.  Several times during the bout Biden turned away from the champion to mouth off at the spectators. 

The most exciting part of the fight was the constant frown on Trump's face squaring off with the alternating phony grin and frown on Biden's face. 

As one of the three judges I scored the fight a draw.  I called one round even and gave each fighter seven rounds.  The Democratic judge gave every round to Biden.  The Republican judge gave every round to Trump.

I think the spectators must be wondering what this match was all about.

ANTI-TRUMP MEDIA FRENZY IN WAKE OF DEBATE

The Trump-hating media did not wait a New York minute to attack the President for his performance during the debate

Tuesday night's debate was a sorry spectacle of how low politics have sunk in our country.  Both candidates should be ashamed of themselves.  But much of the blame belongs to moderator Chris Wallace who let the debate get out of hand from the get-go.

The Trump-hating media did not wait a New York minute to attack the President for his performance during the debate.  

The media frenzy that followed  the debate completely ignored Biden's sorry performance by jumping all over Trump's rudeness and excoriating him for refusing to condemn the Proud Boys.

Trump was indeed rude by constantly interrupting Biden, but rudeness is the nature of the man.

The Proud Boys is an extreme right wing group that is considered a white supremacist organization.  In order to gain prominence, the Proud Boys have been demonstrating in defense of Trump.  Whenever they demonstrate, many of it's members appear in military gear and are armed with AR-15s.

Trump's refusal to condemn the Proud Boys was his biggest foul-up during the debate, but it hardly deserves the extreme abuse he's been getting from the media.

There is much in Biden's debate performance that deserves to be condemned, but the media does not want to excoriate its choice for president.
